Important Dates

Claims Deadline
November 23, 2026
The only way to get the benefits available under the Settlement is by submitting a Claim Form. By submitting a Claim Form, you will be bound by the Settlement terms and give up your right to sue Kia separately for the claims in this case. Claims must be submitted online or postmarked by November 23, 2026.
Exclusion ("Opt Out") Deadline
October 23, 2026
Get no benefits available under the Settlement. This is the only option that allows you to keep your right to sue or continue to sue Kia separately for the same legal claims in this case. Requests for Exclusion (Opt-Out Requests) must be submitted online or postmarked by October 23, 2026.
Objection Deadline
October 23, 2026
To object to the Settlement, you must remain a Class Member—you cannot ask to be excluded. You will remain in the Settlement Class and be bound by the Settlement Agreement if the Settlement is approved by the Court. You may object to the Settlement by writing to the Court and indicating why you do not like the Settlement. Objections must be postmarked by October 23, 2026.
Final Approval Hearing Date
January 7, 2027 at 10:00 a.m. PST
The court has set a Final Approval Hearing for January 7, 2027, at 10:00 a.m. in Courtroom 10D. The time and date of this hearing may change. Please check this Settlement Website for updates.

This Settlement Website is authorized by the Court, supervised by counsel for the Parties, and controlled by the Settlement Administrator approved by the Court. This is the only authorized website for this case.
